The following is a list of necessary documentation required by law:
Birth Certificate.
If Divorced or Widow(er), Final Divorce Certificate or Death Certificate if applicable, must be legalized and translated at the Cuban Consulate in the Country of origin (if divorced or widow (er)) (this case has an additional cost of $ 135.00 CUC for the protocolization of these documents)
Passports (bride, groom and witnesses)
Tourist Visas (bride, groom and witnesses)
Cuban Marriage Certificate will be issued, approximately, in 30 days after the Ceremony.
The Judges official schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 hrs. Until 16:00 hrs.
Should your clients desire to have their ceremony outside of this schedule they must inform the wedding coordinator. So that she can assess the feasibility with the Judges Chambers, and it will have an extra cost of $150.00 CUC.
We will provide witnesses upon request if clients required it.
The names on birth certificates, passports, affidavits and all other
applicable documents must all match each other exactly. For example clients should have no middle names missing from their passport. If documents are incorrect, they can be amended at the Consulate, but this will incur a charge and of course this can take away days of guests΄ holiday!
We advice guest to check the marriage application right after the wedding to avoid future problems.
Witnesses cannot be family of any of the couple according to the Cuban Laws.
Once the trip is booked, clients must send the wedding form duly completed so the hotel can go ahead and book their wedding date with the public notary in Cuba. This form must be requested from and sent to: rrpp@resortsolymar.gca.tur.cu or to the fax: + 53 45 611086, at least 1 month prior to pax departure date along with photocopy of their passports and tourist visas if possible.

The following prerequisites apply to non-Cuban nationals wishing to get married in Breezes Varadero, Breezes Jibacoa and Breezes Bella Costa:
Presentation of passport and tourist card upon arrival.
* Spouses who have never been married do not need to present any of the documents outlined below.
If divorced, Certificate of Divorce.
If widowed, Certificate of Marriage and Certificate of Spouse's Death.
Marriage will be formalized taking into account the name stated in the passport; therefore this must be correct and must be the same as name stated in all other documents presented.
Home address, occupation, level of education, nationality, copy of first page of passport and Birth Certificate of both parties.
Full names of parents (whether living or deceased).
These documents must be translated into Spanish and legalized by the Cuban Consul in the country of origin.
Copies of all documentation referred to above must be faxed to the hotel at least three weeks prior to the couple's arrival in Cuba.
Original documents must be brought by the couple.
Depending on the amount of time available after the wedding, Marriage Certificate will be prepared and delivered to the couple prior to departure, or sent by DHL at a later date to the home address indicated.
Couple must be in Cuba at least 72 hours before the ceremony.
The following prerequisites apply to non-Cuban nationals wishing to renew vows in Cuba:
Copy of Marriage Certificate must be faxed to the hotel at least three weeks prior to the couple's arrival in Cuba.
Original certificate must be brought by the couple.
Depending on the amount of time available after the renewal ceremony, Renewal of Vows Certificate will be prepared and delivered to the couple prior to departure, or sent by DHL at a later date to the home address indicated.
